Info: Live cam at the Blank Park Zoo Aquarium. The Zoo’s Coral Reef exhibit houses a number of aquatic species native to coral reefs around the world, including Achilles tang, foureye butterflyfish, bannerfish, coral, clown triggerfish, and yellow tang, coral and sea anemone.
The Clown Triggerfish has striking colourings and pattern and in the wild it is found along the inner and outer portions of a reef, wherever shellfish and other invertebrates are found. The foureye butterflyfish is found in the Western Atlantic from Massachusetts, USA and Bermuda to the West Indies and northern South America. The schooling bannerfish, also known as the false moorish idol, is a butterflyfish native to the Indo-Pacific area. Achilles tang or Achilles surgeonfish, is a tropical marine fish native to the Pacific Ocean. Surgeonfish take their name from the scalpel-like spines along the top and bottom of their bodies which are venomous and protect them from predators
