More info: The cat shelter was started by Unfortunately, not all cats have adequate shelter and loving owners to take care of them. Over the years, a community of feral cats has formed close to one of our offices, in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. These cats formerly lived in a dilapidated old building that was demolished, leaving the cats homeless. MacGillivray paid up front for the shelter and fence and cat lovers throughout the county and beyond donated to help cover some of the costs.
