More info: The Silkie, also known as the Silky or Chinese silk chicken, is a Chinese breed of chickens named after its fluffy plumage, which is soft to the touch, like silk or fur. They have 5 toes not 4 like other chickens, as well as black skin and bones amd turquoise ears.
The Crested Polish chicken has a small V-shaped comb - often hidden by the large crest of feathers. The earlobes and wattles are small and may also be completely hidden by the crest and beard. The earlobes are white and the comb and wattles bright red. The oldest accounts of these birds come from The Netherlands; their exact origins are unknown.
