Unity Farm Sanctuary was founded in 2016 by Dr. John Halamka and Kathy Halamka. The mission of Unity Farm Sanctuary is to provide a safe and loving lifelong home for farm animals, to offer educational programs to the public and to promote a culture of kindness and connection. The sanctuary hosts tours, educational workshops, wellness and creativity retreats, and offers a variety of internship and volunteer opportunities for adults, and students.

Resident animals at the sanctuary include alpaca, horses, ponies, miniature horses, sheep, cows, goats, pigs and a vast array of free ranging feathered creatures. And everyone has a name !
