Info: Live streaming webcam showing a painted turtle in an aquarium at the Chinn Public Library in Woodbridge, Virginia. The turtle is called Squirt and is a resident mascot who has been delighting visitors to the library for more than 2o years. Squirt was originally rescued from a pond in Manassas which was being drained.

More info: The painted turtle is the most widespread native turtle of North America. It lives in relatively slow-moving fresh waters, from southern Canada to northern Mexico, and from the Atlantic to the Pacific.
