More Info: The bonobo is an endangered great ape and one of the two species making up the genus Pan. are found exclusively in the forests of the central Congo Basin in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in Central Africa. Like chimpanzees, bonobos are close relatives of humans. They differ from chimpanzees by having darker skin, parted hair, and smaller frames.
