MORE INFO : The European badger is the UK’s biggest living land predator. It weighs around 8 to 12 kg and reaches about 90cm in length. The badger is a stocky, short-legged member of the mustelid family, which also includes weasels, otters and wolverines.

Badgers are very social animal, living in groups that share a territory and one or more underground burrows called setts. The collective noun for badgers is a clan or cete. A typical clan of badgers includes four to seven animals, although some groups as large as 23 have been recorded.
