More Info: Blairs Loch comprises around 11 hectares in area and sits in the north-western area of Altyre Estate , lying close to the town of Forres in Moray. The Friends of Blairs Loch, formed in 2017, are a group of volunteers who are working to create a special place for recreation and education.

The Blairs Loch Squirrel Hide was constructed to give visitors the opportunity to watch red squirrels at the feeding area which was made as natural as possible, using storm blown silver birch tree branches. Scotland is home to around 75% of the UK red squirrel population.
