More info: Blakeney National Nature Reserve in Norfolk, is home to England's largest grey seal colony with around 9,000 pups born between the end of October and mid-January every year.

Blakeney Point is situated near to the villages of Blakeney, Morston and Cley next the Sea on the north coast of Norfolk. The main feature is a 6.4 km (4.0 mi) spit of shingle and sand dunes, but the reserve also includes salt marshes, tidal mudflats and reclaimed farmland. It has been managed by the National Trust since 1912.

Blakeney Point has a mixed colony of about 500 harbour and grey seals. Grey seals breed in winter, and harbour seals have their young between June and August.
