Big Turkey Vulture at the Bird Feeder
Video courtesy of: Gettysburg LiveCam
Information: Video showing a big turkey vulture visiting a bird feeder in Pennsylvania. The bird feeder is meant to attract garden birds but this big guy decided to stop by and test the grape jelly. Looks like the owners will be needing a bigger table in future.
Turkey Vultures get their name from dark plumage and bald, red heads that are reminiscent of Wild Turkeys.
Turkey vultures are year-round residents in Pennsylvania but make short southward migrations during winter, being more abundant in the southeastern counties.
