Reid Park Zoo is home to a herd of six African elephants: a 16-year-old male named Tsavo and five females: Semba, Lungile, Nandi, Penzi, and Meru. The arrival of Tsavo in October 2024 expanded the all-female herd to include a male, making it a herd of six elephants.
