More Info : Over its time the SDP has donated over 180 great dane dogs to people needing assistance and thus enriching the quality of their lives and bringing greater independence to the recipients.
SDP is situated on 12 acres of land with a large training arena and open spaces for the dogs to play and exercise and the kennels are heated and air conditioned. There are over 140 volunteers assisting with the 30 or more dogs which are living at the centre and in training.
Despite its name the great dane is actually a German breed. Though they have an imposing look, great danes are one of the best-natured dogs around. For all of their size, Great Danes are sweet, affectionate pets. They love to play and are gentle with children.
