The nest is currently home to bald eagle pair Abby and Blaze who have two eaglets called Swampy and Meadow.
The bald eagle nest is located on private property on a small working cattle ranch.

More info: Thankfully, the southwest Florida bald eagles rebuilt their nest after Hurricane Ian blew down their nest tree in the fall of 2022. Abby and Blaze became the resident bald eagle pair in the 2021-2022 season and their two eaglets Fern and Thunder successfully fledged.
