More info: The Ensifera Camp – Hummingbird Garden was developed by Cesar Cusihuaman in 2018. The location is in the Sacred Valley of Cusco in the town of Yanahuara at 3,000 meters above sea level.
The reserve has a humminbird garden, a gazebo and grain and seed feeders. Many bird species are attracted to the native flower and fruit gardens. Aside from hummingbirds there are creamy-crested spinetail, chestnut breasted mountain-finch and red crested cotinga and lots more.
Peru is home to around 100 species if humminbird which is a third of all known species
