More info: Ecological Planning and Research (EPR) installed the live webcam at St Mary’s Church in Andover in 2019, to enable people to observe the Peregrines.
The peregrine is a large, crow-sized falcon, it has a blue-grey back, barred white underparts, and a black head. Their streamlined bodies and powerful wings enable them to reach extreme speeds in a dive. They possess exceptional vision and are able to spot prey from great heights. In towns and cities, peregrines may also hunt at night due to the artificial lights.
