More info: The Farne Islands are home to around 50,000 breeding puffin pairs as well as 23 different seabird species, including guillemots, razorbills, shags, eider duck, Arctic tern and kittiwake. The puffin season runs from April to August and as the puffins depart and Autumn arrives, the islands then welcome grey seals who form one of the largest colonies on the east coast of Engalnd.
