More info: The peregrine falcon is a common bird of prey which may be found in almost any habitat. Because they are so adaptable they also thrive in cities.

Peregrine falcons do not construct nests but use a shallow dip or scrape in soil or rocks on cliff ledges or buildings

Peregrines hunt their prey from above with either a swift chase or a fast dive that can reach a speed of around 200 miles per hour. They also have incredible eyesight and can see at least one mile and keep track of three moving objects at once.

The peregrine is also able to blend in somewhat with its environment. If it tucks its wings into the back, it may reduce its proportions to that a little bird, like a pigeon. Because of this, it can remain undetected while perched on electricity lines or other structures.
