More info: The Makov Animal Rescue Center was established in 1993 by the Czech Union for Nature Conservation. This Center is a part of the National Network of Rescue Centers in the Czech Republic.
There are 35 aviaries built on the area of the Center covering an area of 4000 square meters. The Center accepts all injured or ill wild animals. It takes care of abandoned baby animals and provides first aid, veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, preparation for release and actual release back to the wild.
